My name is Samantha, I have always had a passion for empowering people and giving them the confidence to believe in themselves. I lost my confidence and empowerment during the birth of my daughter due to the circumstances. This has led me to my passion for helping people during pregnancy, labor / delivery and immediate post-partum. As a Doula I will give you the confidence and power to believe in yourself and trust your own instincts. If at any point you lose confidence, I will be there to remind you how strong and powerful you are! A doula's role is not to replace a partner but to encourage your partner to be an active participant tasked in easing and comforting the one in labor. I love being able to take part in the transformation of families as they grow and assist the birthing person in this new stage of their life.

I love to teach and educate. My classes will prepare you for what happens to your body during pregnancy, labor and after delivery. Together we will explore the signs of both early and active labor. We will also work to develop strategies and comfort measures that are tailored to your individual needs. I offer private classes adapted to your specific needs as well as group classes.

I have certifications in Breast/Chest & Bottle feedings, Childbirth Education, DONA Introduction to childbearing for doulas, DONA Birth doula.
